Hi Carla,
thank you so much, mostly in the name of Larken.
Reminded me of my early days of revolt against a suppressive system when I sat together with a colleague, talking about my early confrontations with the Infernal Revenue Service. He thought that I, and an immigrated German, had so much more guts than he as a 'free' American - whenever he gets a letter from these people, he gets out his checkbook and writes the numbers on it they tell him.
If you like this clear and convincing logic of Larken Rose you will also love the materials of Stefan Molyneux at freedomainradio.com.
Cheers, Merlin

What a brilliant article! As a South African expat now having lived in the US for 11 years, I find most Americans alarmingly conformist and compliant. I can't help but wonder what happened to the daring people who founded this once-great country. I'm forwarding your piece of writing to absolutely everyone on my e-mail list. Thank you so much!
