Did you wash behind your ears?
Filed under Fun Stuff, Philosophical, Video |
When our son gets a big stream of orders for all the things he still has to do I often can not hold on and have to ask him also this important question: “Did you wash behind your ears?” - because in his modern training this is mostly left out in his education.
After so many years I still remember this from my own training and I certainly know the value of washing behind your ears. Or did I never see the value of that? I donno - but it was one of the two.
Anyways I got pretty old by now and don’t remember every washing behind my years consciously (and I never grew any moss behind my ears) so I guess it must not have been that important. It might cost me a few years towards the end of this lifetime - but hey - we can always do another one if we really enjoyed it that much.
But the whole point of this tirade is expressed by Ping Floyd in their epic “The Wall”
Teachers - leave us kids alone!
and I am sure that parents are included in the term teachers.
This has been nicely presented in this mother’s parody of parental guidance - enjoy!
And never do this again to your child.
