John F. Kennedy on Secrecy

Found this great video on Google video (yes, it still does exist) which should make most current rulers and tyrant cringe. It’s just a plain little speech from JFK laced with some disturbing imagery.

Trying to get all Kennedy says and at the same time take in all the images is probably overwhelming. It is better to first listen to the speech in full without also taking in the video and then to go back start from the beginning and watch the images and clips together with the speech.

I can only imagine that speeches like this must have been a contributing factor to his early demise - he must have been a really bad thorn in the eyes of the bad, bad tyrants.

I mean, he must have been a tyrant himself, otherwise how could it have been possible for him to climb up the ladder all the way to the the job of the top honcho. Generally a person who would be a good politician has never the inclination of taking a job where he has to tell others what to do. Only the ones who are really bad for this kind of job are very eager to apply for it.

As JFK had the job of top honcho he might have had some of tyrant mentality but then again if he was one of the tyrants at least he was a bad one - bad as a tyrant that is - which is good for the people who don’t like tyrants - like I.
